This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you access the site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (including your IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type) to deliver the site and ensure operational security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you use the form, we process the data you provide (store name/URL, e-mail address) solely to handle your inquiry and to contact you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures). The data is not used for advertising and not shared with uninvolved third parties. It is deleted once no longer needed for the purpose.
To process the form technically we use Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) as a processor. On submission, the form data is transmitted to Formspree, processed there and forwarded to us. To protect the form against spam and abuse we also use Cloudflare Turnstile(Cloudflare, Inc.). On submission, Turnstile checks whether the request comes from a human; for this, your IP address and technical browser signals are transmitted to and evaluated by Cloudflare. On the homepage we embed a live demo of our shop cockpit via an iframe fromGitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA — part of Microsoft). When the homepage loads, your browser establishes a connection to GitHub and transmits your IP address to the USA (third country). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a meaningful product presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the transfer relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not set any cookies for this. We set a single technically necessary cookie: alps_lang (lifetime 180 days). It only remembers your deliberately chosen language (German/English) so you don't have to switch on every visit. It is set only when you use the language switcher, contains no profile, and serves no tracking. As a technically necessary cookie it requires no consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (no cookie banner needed); legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you open the homepage from abroad, we automatically redirect you to the English version, unless your device is set to German. For this we evaluate the country code provided by our hosting provider Cloudflare (derived from your IP address) and your browser's language setting. We do not store your IP address. Search-engine crawlers are excluded from this redirect.
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).
